Atamira Limited is a Silviculture, Pest-Control and Forestry Solutions provider based in Whakatane. We provide employment for our community while helping our men reconnect to their grass roots through tikanga maori practices and initiatives. We have and maintain our vision of creating employment for local Maori men and non-Maori men who are from the most affected areas, by the negative stats in our society. We are dedicated to creating better role models out of these men for themselves and their communities. We have set out to accomplish our goals and ambitions though a tikanga maori business model, where we take our Men back to their marae, we upskill them with unit standards for forestry and Pest control operations, fire training, and leadership training.

Atamira exists to realize the potential of Maori and create a sustainable future through strong tikanga and whakawhanaungatanga. We work with our men to encourage and guide them on a journey of personal and professional development along with sustainable employment. We provide a positive influence for our kai whanau and kai mahi (team members and employees), which will transfer to our whanau and hapu (families and communities). Atamira will equip and empower our people to live well, do well and be well.
